Privacy, in plain language
RefusalCheck is an independent beta run by one person: CB Daniels, based in Spain. There is no company behind it yet, no ad network, and no analytics service — just this page telling you exactly what is collected and why.
What is collected
- What you submit (a supplier name or listing title, the category, and the optional "who is this check for" answer) — used only to run your check.
- Your email address — used only to send you your results and to answer replies. No list, no marketing, no sharing, ever.
- Basic technical data — the IP address and browser signature of submissions and page visits, plus the referring page. This exists for spam/abuse protection and to count whether anyone visits at all. It is not shared or combined with anything else.
What is never done
- Supplier names you submit are never published, aggregated, sold, or shared. Your sourcing is your business.
- Your email is never added to any list or shared with anyone.
- No cookies are set, no trackers load, no third-party analytics run on this site.
Where it lives, how long
Submissions are stored in a Cloudflare database and delivered to a private mailbox. Everything is deleted when the beta ends, or immediately on request.
Your rights
Ask to see or delete anything held about you at any time: email checks@refusalcheck.com or just reply to any RefusalCheck email. Under the GDPR you also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, but writing first will almost certainly be faster.
